Somewhere between the last meeting of the day and the first message of the evening, the date night idea quietly dies. Not from lack of wanting. It dies in the choosing. One of you opens a browser, the other opens a map, and forty tabs later nobody has booked anything and both of you are tired.
unplan takes the choosing away. You set your budget, the nights that are usually free and the things you both like, once. Then every week one sealed plan arrives for both of you. You vote blind, without seeing each other's answer. Two yeses and it opens, with the time, the details and the invites landing in both calendars. Neither of you had to be the one who decided.
What a Stockholm evening can be #
The city is good at evenings that do not need much arranging.
There is the film that starts early, in a small cinema where the screen is modest and the seats are close enough that you can whisper. There is the museum that stays open late, so you walk the rooms while the streets outside go quiet. There is live jazz somewhere below street level, close enough to hear the players breathe, with a drink you nurse for an hour because you are not in a hurry.
Then there is the long dinner, the one with no second plan attached. A table you keep talking at until the staff start stacking chairs. There is the walk by the water as the light goes, when the sky does that thing it does here and neither of you says much. A sauna, then cold air, then something hot to drink. A short boat ride that turns an ordinary evening into a small trip.
Some evenings are for talking properly, the kind where you find out something new about each other. Some are for being somewhere unfamiliar and letting that do the work. Some are simply a good table, a shared plate and no notifications.
That range is the point. A sealed plan can put you in any of them, and part of the pleasure is not knowing which one you are walking into until you both say yes.
Something to book any day #
If your evening is free but nothing on the calendar fits, a small-group walk, a tasting or a boat tour works almost any day of the week. Browse experiences in Stockholm on Viator (referral link).
Coming soon to Stockholm #
unplan opens in Stockholm soon. Couples who want date nights without the planning can join the waitlist at unplan.me/stockholm and be there for the first sealed plans.
You set your preferences once: what you like, what you would rather skip, the budget an evening should stay inside, and which nights are usually free. After that, the choosing is ours.
FAQ #
How does a sealed date plan work?
One plan a week, sealed for both of you. You each vote without seeing the other's answer. Two yeses open it, and the time, the details and the calendar invites appear for both of you at once.
What does it cost to start?
Joining starts with your budget, not ours. You tell us what an evening should stay inside once, and every plan is built to fit it, so the night matches what you actually want to spend. No surprise on the card at the end of the evening.
Can we say no to a plan?
Yes. The vote is private, so neither of you has to be the difficult one. If it is not the night for you, you skip it and a new plan arrives the following week.
